Highlights:
Cuc Phuong is home to an amazing diversity of flora and fauna. Inhabitants of the park include 97 species of mammals, most notable endangered langurs; 300 species of birds; 36 reptilian species; 17 species of amphibians; 11 species of fish; 2,000 species of vascular plants, and thousands of species of insects.
A number of species in the park are listed on Vietnam Red Book of endangered species.
DETAILED ITINERARY:
DAY1: HANOI -CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK
Depart from Hanoi and driving some 120 km to the south and heading for Cuc Phuong National Park. on arrival, we will check in the guesthouse before taking our guided tour ofl visiting the Endangered Primate Rescue centre and learn a little of the work that is being done to preserve the endangered native primates. Next will be our lunch time before doing our trekking through the rainforest some 7km long, tour ends, we will return back to the park centre and ready for dinner. Spend the night at the Cuc Phuong national park guesthouse. Next is dinner. (L/D)
DAY2: CUC PHUONG- HANOI
Rising this morning with the sounds of the forest all around us, we take a drive to the center of the park, where we commence our today’s trek through the lush rainforest, past centuries old trees and to caves once inhabited by prehistoric humans. At early this afternoon we will leave Cuc Phuong heading back Hanoi. In Hanoi transfer to hotel for check in .end of services. (B/L)
