Vietnam is beautiful with its charming nature. Traveling by bicycle is one of

the best ways to experience it.

The Mekong Delta is impressive with the natural scenery that can only be fully appreciated when traveling from place to place at a nice, slow pace. To offer tourists a unique new experience, Ben Thanh is now providing bicycle tours to the Mekong Delta, Phuoc Hai and Mui Ne-Phan Thiet.

Showing the most interest in this new style of touring are young people and international tourists. They appear to be the hungriest for knowledge about Vietnamese life and culture.

Foreign tourists will surely experience the most excitement because they get to take a bicycle and travel around to learn about local life and culture. This tour will guide tourists to the Mekong Delta for 10-15 days. Ben Thanh is also launching two new destinations, Phuoc Hai and Mui Ne.

The first few days of the journey will lead tourists to Ben Tre, Tra Vinh and Soc Trang. Tourists will slowly ride their bicycles from Thu Thua to Tan An. From there, they will go on the Rach Mieu Ferry before continuing to ride towards Ben Tre. Later on, from Ben Tre to Tra Vinh, after taking Phu Son Ferry, tourists will take a bike journey to Cai Mon Church and then finally take a ferry at Long Duc Terminal to get to hotels.

The tour continues with a stop in Soc Trang Province, which is famous for its 200 pagodas. There are Dat Set Pagoda, Kleng Pagoda and Doi (Bat) Pagoda. Then the tourists will go back to Can Tho to visit Cai Rang Floating Market. Other localities that are also on the tour’s itinerary include Phong Dien, Long Xuyen and Cao Lanh.

In the Mekong Delta, tourists can sightsee the waterway regions and visit old pagodas and orchards. Tourists can also drop by locals’ homes and help them with their daily activities like drying out ditches to catch fish. In addition, they can try special foods and listen to don ca tai tu, which is the traditional music of southern Vietnam.

After the extensive traveling in the Mekong Delta, tourists will return to Saigon and visit Cu Chi. Naturally, there are so many places right here in Saigon which will peak their interests, namely the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and the central Post Office.

Tourists will then travel to Phuoc Hai and Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, to relax and enjoy the beaches. There, they can take a bicycle to dragon fruit groves and take pictures. Then tourists will come to Cham Tower, sand hills and fishing villages where they can visit fish sauce manufacturing establishments. Before the journey wraps up, tourists will take a bath in the sea and relax.

On this tour in each province and city, tourists will have an opportunity to travel by bicycle for 10-20km. It will be very interesting, challenging, and exciting. It will give them the chance to feel the nature, the weather, the life, and people of every locality.

Since this tour is taken mostly by bicycle, it costs less. However, there are also automobiles and a team of guides accompanying tourists to provide them with services and support.
