DETAILED ITINERARY:

DAY1: SAIGON-DALAT
Pick you up at Hotel and transfer to Tansonnhat airport for your flight to Dalat mountain, on arrival, you will be met our guide and learn some cycling techniques and safety procedures, next will be fitting bikes and recuperating from the flight. A welcome dinner in the restaurant at downtown for tonight. Overnight in Da lat

DAY2: DALAT-OUTSKIRTS
There are plenty of back roads to explore by bike. Ride alongside the Xuan Huong Lake before turning off to pedal in the shadow of Langbian Mountain. The ride takes you past flower farms and vegetable gardens, through smaller villages and past picturesque churches and ornate cemeteries, up cobbled streets and past old colonial buildings. The terrain is undulating. Stop to visit a flower farm en route and have the chance to examine coffee plantations. The trail can lead out to the area where the founder of Dalat Alexander Yersin first wanted to build Dalat, overlooking a magnificent lake surrounded by pine forests. Stay one more night in Dalat. (35km cycling)

DA3: DALAT-JUN VILLAG
Transfer the first 70km from Dalat. Start riding at the top of a mountain. The road is extremely quiet and begins to wind down through jungle with superb views of Langbian into the distance. Overnight in a long house in the middle of a lakeside village. There are many longhouses set next to the lakes all with their respective puppy dogs and collection of baby pot bellied pigs trotting around... The longhouse is very comfortable. There are blankets and mattress and mosquito netting. There are outdoor western toilets and cold showers available. Homestay for tonight, dinner at the same house. (80km cycling)

DAY4: JUN VILLAGE-YOK DON NATIONAL PARK
 Heading for Buon me thuot this morning and will be reached the city at lunch time. After lunch, continue our riding to Yok don national park .the route is mainly downhill. Yok Don is a 58,000ha wildlife reserve and is thought to be the home of several rare white elephants. Ride to Ban Don Village – a harmonious multiracial village home to the Ede, H’mong, Lao, Thai and Khmer ethnic minorities. The village has a long tradition of taming the forest’s elephants. One more night of homestay in a village family. (60km cycling)

DAY5: YOK DON-WHALE ISLAND
After breakfast, we take an elephant ride through the Park, then back up to Buon Ma Thuot and onwards to the coast, start riding when the roads are traffic free and the hills loom closer. From Krong Pac ride down to the coast, the most fascinating section of the ride is experiencing the contrast between the jungle forests of the past days compared with the deforested mountains– a direct effect of the American war with Vietnam. There is a classic 10km downhill with views stretching across the plains the to the sea. At the main road, transfer a few km to Whale Island – a 7km long beautiful eco friendly island resort surrounded by crystal clear seas and colourful sea life. Overnight Whale Island. (70km cycling)

DAY6: WHALE ISLAND
Have breakfast. Today is free on your own to join activities of relaxing, snorkel swimming, go windsurfing or stroll along the nature trail circumnavigating the island. The Second night on Whale Island for tonight.

DAY7: WHALE ISLAND-NHA TRANG
This morning, we check out the hotel and will take a local boat for transferring back to the mainland, from here to cycle for 15 km along a beautiful peninsular road to the main highway. Cycle 60km to Nha Trang from Dai Lanh Beach. The route is picturesque as it winds along the coast for much of the way, but can be busy in parts. At very late afternoon will arrive Nha Trang city, check in hotel for a well earned rest and recuperation! In the evening explore Nha Trang and dine at a local restaurant. (80km cycling)

 Note: The terrain in Vietnam can be hilly so a regular conditioning program beginning at least two months prior to departure is strongly recommended. Cycling, walking/running and a daily stretching regimen are all great ways to prepare for this adventure. Some of the most important qualifications for any trip without standard tourist facilities are a spirit of adventure and a positive attitude.

 ++ Travel insurance

Travel insurance is compulsory for all tours. All clients MUST be insured to cover personal accident, medical expenses, cancellation, curtailment and repatriation. As well as providing substantial cover for medical emergency, cancellation and curtailment, personal luggage, money and valuables and legal expenses, this insurance will also provide cover for the adventure activities you may choose to undertake whilst on tour.

No client will be allowed on tours without suitable insurance. If you have already arranged insurance elsewhere, please ensure that you are covered on your policy for any optional activities you may wish to join. If you plan on doing any activities which may not be covered, please purchase additional insurance.

At the start of your tour you will be asked to present your original policy document and complete an insurance information form. We recommend that you have a photocopy of this document, which you keep separate from the original.
