DETAILED ITINERARY:
DAY1: ARRIVAL SAIGON
Upon arrival to Tan son Nhat airport, you will be met with our guide and driver, transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Saigon City.
DAY2: SAIGON CITY-CU CHI TUNNELS
A morning city tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City or a former name “Saigon”, visit the former Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, a lacquer ware factory and Thien Hau Pagoda in the city’s bustling Chinatown. In the afternoon, visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. Overnight in Saigon.(B/L)
DAY3: SAIGON-DANANG-HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN
After breakfast transfer to Tan Son Nhat Airport for the short flight to the central port city of Danang. On arrival in Danang transfer to Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. Take a walking tour of the ancient town centre to visit the former merchants’ homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market, this beautiful ancient town is considered as the best place in Vietnam for tailoring clothes, so be sure that you don’t be missed your shopping opportunity over here. For dinner, you will be free on your own of exploring the town. Overnight in hoi an.(B/L/D
DAY4: HUE ANCIENT CAPITAL (143 YEARS)
Leave Hoi An in the morning for Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. The scenic route passes through Danang before climbing over the Pass of Ocean Clouds and dropping down to the wonderfully photogenic fishing village of Lang Co. Arrive in Hue early in the afternoon and transfer to hotel for check in, after lunch in a local restaurant in town. Next is to visit the elaborate mausoleums of Emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh and the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Overnight in Hue. (B/L/D)
DAY5: HUE –HANOI CITY
Transfer to Hue Airport after breakfast for the short flight to Hanoi, the modern day capital of Vietnam. Check in hotel, next you will take one hour the cyclo rides to visit the famous Hanoi’s Old Quarter. In the evening enjoy a traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi. (B/L)
DAY6: HANOI- HA LONG BAY
This morning, after breakfast. We check out the hotel, today we will drive from Hanoi to Ha long will take about 3hours of jouney, stopping en route for relaxing at a handcraft center at Sao do town. Carry on our driving for one and half hours more, upon arrival ha long city, you will board on our traditional-designed wooden junk, lunch will be serving while the boat is sailing for the sung sot caven. Get off the boat for visiting the cave in 30minutes time, next is cruising to Titop beach for swimming or just simplely sitting on the boat’s top deck and looking the sun is slowly setting to behind the formations at middle Halong bay. Overnight on boat. (B/L/D)
DAY7: HA LONG –HANOI
A morning cruise in a private junk on the emerald green waters of Halong Bay, among the 3,000 spectacular limestone islands. The cruise ends with a fresh seafood lunch on board. Return to Hanoi by road in the afternoon, stop over at Bat Trang traditional ceramic village for sightseeing before driving into Hanoi capital. Check in hotel the you will be free for tonight. Overnight in Hanoi. (B/L)
DAY8: DEPARTURE HANOI
Departure day. At leisure for your own exploration the city until transfer to Noi Bai Airport for onward flight. (B)
