Detailed Itinerary:
DAY1: ARRIVAL HA NOI
You will be met your guide and driver at the airport, transfer to Hanoi for check in Hotel, free at leisure on your own exploring the city.
DAY2: CITY HA NOI
Start our city tour in Hanoi by visiting Hochiminh Mausoleum, the House on stilts, Presidential palace and the one pillar pagoda was built in 1049.from here we drive for the temple of literature, built in 1070.Next will be visited to a very beautiful museum of ethnology to enhance your understanding of Viet Nam ‘diverse culture through its unique presentation of objects and dress from daily life. Today’ lunch at a top local restaurant. end the day by one hour cycle tour around the Hanoi old quarter, this evening attend a traditional water puppet, a uniquely northern Vietnamese art form especially designed for depicting scenes from rural life and many episodes of national history. DAY3: SIGHTSEEING TRIP TO THE THAY AND TAY PHUONG PAGODA
Early depart for the “pagoda of the west”, Tay Phuong .built as early as the 8th century, away 40km southwest of Hanoi, consists of three parallel single level structures built on a hillock said to resemble a buffalo. These structures represent three treasures, Buddha, his laws and the bonze. take a relaxing for a few kilometers through the paddy fields and a villages to the master –Thay pagoda built in the 11th century, also the home of water puppetry, this pagoda honors a monk Tu Dao Hanh, enjoy a picnic lunch at the pagoda, continue another drive to visit the van phuc silk making village and Lang so to see the local villager produce the traditional noodle manually, drive back to Hanoi. DAY4: HANDICRAFT VILLAGE TRIP AND SA PA MOUNTAIN
Free in the morning until our guide and driver come to make check out procedures and pick up you for lunch, after lunch we drive to out of city to some handicraft villages including the Bat Trang traditional ceramic village, the Dong ky furniture wooden village, return back Hanoi for our walking tour in downtown for sightseeing and shopping while waiting for overnight train to Sapa mountain, transfer to the train station. DAY5: SA PA SIGHTSEEING TRIP TO VILLAGES
Arrive in the early morning at lao Cai station ,near the Chinese border, take a scenic drive to the hill station of Sapa, enjoy the spectacular views of rice –terraced mountains and black H’mong and red Dao hill tribe people dressed in their colorful wares walking along the roadside, after breakfast at a local restaurant ,drive to the top of lao chai village ,then start to hike down slope from the main road in lao chai to visit black H’mong village ,continue to hike from lao chai to ta van where the Zay and red Dao villagers live .picnic lunch in the village. Overnight in the village. (B/L/D)
DAY6: SA PA-BAC HA MARKET-HA NOI RETURN
Morning check out of Home stay family before driving to Bac ha ,with a 30minute en route visit to the phong Hai market ,on arrival in Bacha 130 km away from Sapa where to visit the most colorful market of hill tride people such as flower H’mong ,Phu la ,Dao Tuyen gathering here to exchange goods ,after lunch ,we drive to Trung do and will trek 4km to visit a Tay minority village, from the village we go by boat up the Chay river for one and half hours ,where we experience the magnificent sight of the beautiful caves, the raining waterfall, our boat trip will be ending at Bao nhai. drive back to lao cai to visit Tran Hung Dao temple ,the century banyan tree, the 12 zodiac-signs park and the Chinese-Vietnamese borderline ,then ,transfer to a local guesthouse near lao cai train station for fresh up before taking an overnight train back to the city capital ha Noi. DAY7: HA NOI-HA LONG BAY
Upon arrival in Hanoi in the early morning ,transfer to a local hotel for fresh up and breakfast, then drive 160km to Halong city with a coffee break en route at the Sao do handicraft village ,arrive by noontime at the dock, we board our traditional –designed wooden junk to begin a 4 hours cruise through spectacular Ha long bay, visiting the amazingly beautiful caves and grottos and fishing villages ,enjoy a fresh seafood lunch will be served on boat, our dinner for tonight also will served on boat. Overnight on Bait ho junk boat. (B/L/D)
DAY8: HA LONG –HA NOI-HUE CITY
Early morning, get up to catch the sunrise on the bay. Explore and cruise down to Bait Tu long bay for more sightseeing and photography opportunities, a farewell lunch on boat before we will get back to the dock where driver and the car will be waiting to drive back ha Noi. On the way back will stop in a ceramic-making village of bat Trang to observe the century-year old trade of ceramic production. Arrive in Ha Noi at late afternoon, transfer to the train station for taking overnight train to hue. Overnight on train/soft berths with air-con (B/L/D)
DAY9: HUE SIGHTSEEING CITY TOUR
Arrive in Hue in early morning and transfer to the Hotel for fresh up and breakfast. then ,take a dragon boat across the triangle of the perfume river upstream to visit the Thien Mu pagoda, a hue’s most preserved religious monument ,then continue by car to visit the imperial citadel from where the nguyen emperors ruled Viet Nam. Afternoon, spend time visiting the two elaborate mausoleums of Emperor Tu Duc and Khai Dinh by car. Overnight in Hue (B/L/D)
DAY10: HUE-DA NANG-HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN
Drive from Hue for two and half hours to Danang, we will pass the fishing village of Lang co before ascending the scenic Hai van pass (cloudy pass) where a spectacular panorama of the center coastline can be viewed at the summit, upon arrival in Da Nang visit Cham museum, one of the 5 oldest museums in ASIA, containing the finest collection of Cham sculptures and visit marble mountains before continuing to hoi an ancient town. Overnight in Hoi an (B/L/D)
DAY11: SAI GON-MY SON HOLY LANDS
In the morning will visit my son by car,60km away from Hoi an. my son was discovered by the French in 1885,it was the ancient capital of Cham pa from 7th century, now it is in the list of world cultural heritage site of Viet name.
Early afternoon, drive back to hoi an for lunch in a local restaurant, from here we will start a walking tour visiting ancient town center, former merchant’ homes, Chinese temples and the 400years old Japanese covered bridge and the colorful local market. Overnight in Hoi an (B/L)
DAY12: HOIAN-DA NANG-NHA TRANG BEACH CITY
After breakfast, free at leisure until transfer to the airport for your flight to Nha Trang, upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check in. Overnight in Nha Trang (B)
DAY13: NHA TRANG
Free day, no car and guide for these days. One more night in Nha Trang for relaxation. (B)
DAY14: NHA TRANG –SAI GON
After breakfast, free at leisure until transfer to the airport for flight to Saigon, upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in. next will be visiting to the old Saigon post office, Notre dame cathedral, former presidential palace, war remnant museum and the Chinese district of Cho lon to enjoy the bustling wholesale quarter of Saigon. Overnight in Saigon (B/L)
DAY15: SAI GON-MEKONG DELTA TRIP
After breakfast ,set out an excursion to My tho in the Mekong delta, enjoy a 2 hours scenic drive passing paddy fields and tributaries, on a arrival, board our private motorized boat for a river cruise on the upper part of the Mekong river for a taste of agriculture life on the mighty Mekong river. disembark the boat strolling around the colorful my tho wholesale fruit market to enjoy the bustle local daily life. continue your ride upstream stopping en route at a boat building family factory and at thoi son 5 island ,walk through the lush orchards with tropical fruits, opportunity to taste diverse types of Mekong delta fruit while enjoying traditional music. Shuttle back to the pier and enjoy lunch with Mekong delta specialties at Ngoc Gia Trang restaurant .drive back to Saigon at late afternoon. Overnight in Saigon (B/L)
DAY16: DEPARTURE SAI GON
After breakfast, meet and transfer to tan son Nhat airport for your departure flight.
