DAY 1: ARRIVAL SAIGON
On arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport of Saigon or Hochiminh city, meet our local guide and driver to transfer to your hotel in town. free on your own of exploration the city. Overnight in Saigon
DAY 2: SAIGON - CU CHI TUNNELS - CITY TOURS
After having breakfast at your hotel, we have an excursion to Cu Chi tunnels, By 1965, 250 km of tunnels criss-crossed Cu Chi and surrounding areas -just across the Saigon River was the notorious guerrilla power base known as the IRON TRIANGLE.
The Cu Chi tunnels played a vital part in the American war in that they allowed the Viet Cong to control a large rural area only 30 to 40 km from Saigon. At its height, the tunnel system stretched from Saigon to the Cambodian border. The network, parts of which were several levels deep, included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centres and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and feel of what underground life in the American War must have been like. The tunnels have been widened for our benefit (otherwise we would not be able to enter them!) For those interested there’s even the opportunity to fire off rounds from an AK47 or MK16 at the nearby rifle range.
Tour ends, transfer back Saigon airport for Visit the Former Presidential Palace, the War Crime Museum, the central complex of architecture: the Notre Dame Cathedral. Overnight Saigon (B/L)
DAY 3: SAIGON-MEKONG DELTA
Heading out of the town, we travel by roads to the Mekong Delta, Vietnam’s largest rice bowl. On arrival in My Tho we embark on a boat navigating around the intricate small canals in the delta region, which is a great way to observe the local lifestyle close-up. The most interesting excursion will pass the lush green vegetation before arriving at the most beautiful Unicorn Island. Here we have opportunities to visit some fascinating local industries, stroll around an orchard and taste many seasonal fruits. And then we continue our trip to see fascinating local industries in Ben Tre Province. After feasting on a huge lunch we return to Saigon with stop over at the beautiful Vinh Trang Pagoda. On arrival, transfer to your hotel. Overnight Saigon (B/L)
DAY 4: SAIGON-DANANG-HOIAN/ FLIGHT
Transfer back Saigon airport for flying to Danang cit, some 2 hours away from Saigon, meet our local guide and transfer to Hoian Hotel (30 km from Danang city), free time on your own of exploration the ancient town (great choice to walk downtown for shopping handmade clothes). Overnight Hoian (B)
DAY 5: HOI AN WALKING TOURS
Have breakfast in your hotel before start our half day walking tour to visit Hoi an ancient town, From the 16th to 18th centuries, Hoi An was a thriving international commercial port for Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders. These people came primarily to trade in the high grade silk, which is still produced in the area, as well as ceramics. Today, Hoi An is a quaint riverside town, popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, tailors shops, and numerous cafes. Some of the buildings in the narrow streets have remained unchanged for more than a century. Some places that not to be missed in town are the former merchants’ homes, the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge and the colorful market.
Transfer back the hotel, free time for dinner. Overnight Hoian (B)
DAY 6: HOIAN-HUE
This morning, you will be free for relaxing on Cua Dai Beach, check out hotel this noon and driving for the north to Hue, some 130 km away. Along the way, we make stopover at the sensational Marble Mountains, the China Beach and Danang City for a visit to the Cham Museum. On arrival Hue, check in your hotel and free time on your own of exploration the city or visit the Dong Ba Market. Overnight in Hue (B)
DAY 7: HUE-HANOI (BY TRAIN)
After breakfast we drive to visit to the beautiful pagoda of Thien Mu. Upon leaving this symbol of Hue we continue navigating to the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a tranquil setting of gardens and lakes.
This afternoon, at 3.40 pm, we will catch a night train and heading for Hanoi capital of Vietnam (B/L)
DAY 8: ARRIVAL HANOI- HALF DAY TOUR IN HANOI
05.00: Arrival in Hanoi station, transfer to hotel. Check in hotel then enjoy breakfast (your own account). This afternoon, we will start to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, One-Pillared Pagoda. PM: visit Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son temple and Restore Sword Lake. Evening: Enjoy water puppet show, next will enjoy our dinner at finest restaurant in town and Overnight in Hanoi (D)
DAY 9: HANOI - HALONG CRUISES/ Shuttle bus
At around 7.30 to 8.15 am this morning, the shuttle bus (Shared bus) will come to pick you up at your hotel and depart for Halong Bay, some 165 km away from Hanoi.
Welcome on board of Bai Tho Junk and set sail through the bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons' teeth.
After lunch, we cruise to the inside of magical landscape of Dinh Huong island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Binh Phong mountain, Sung Sot Cave, Round over Titov Beach. Enjoy sunset on the top of the Titov mountain or you take a bamboo row boat to discover a water tunnels with many coral reefs in a scenic lagoon.
Back on board Junk, enjoy dinner on boat. Overnight on board junk (B/L/D)
DAY 10: HALONG BAY - HANOI- DEPARTURE / Shuttle bus
Rise to the sound of the ocean coming to life for another lovely day. Before breakfast, you may have an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, we cruise to the Bai Tho Mountain in the other beautiful Bai Tu Long Bay and we cruise back to the Halong dock.
Lunch on boat before checkout is at 11:45.
Boat arrive at harbor by 12:00 free time for shopping .
12h45 Transfer back to Hanoi by shuttle bus and transfer back Noi Bai International airport for flight onwards, tour ends at airport (B/L)
